JAKTOOL CEO Cristy Richards Talks Growth and Vision with EOS

A recent email newsletter to business leaders from EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) featured JAKTOOL for successfully implementing the EOS system. EOS is a set of concepts and practical tools that helps organizations clarify, simplify, and achieve their vision.

By looking at the business through the lens of Six Key Components – vision, data, process, traction, issues, and people – organizations can build a stronger culture, solve problems more effectively, and become more profitable.

In the newsletter’s Client Spotlight, JAKTOOL CEO Cristy Richards discussed the company’s journey with EOS, which began when Cristy participated in the WeIGNITE executive education program in the spring of 2021. At the time, JAKTOOL was experiencing growth as other companies were struggling through a decline due to Covid.

During this period of growth, JAKTOOL reevaluated company goals and sought to achieve clarity in its vision and purpose. This involved establishing core values and accountabilities while emphasizing open, honest communication. JAKTOOL started using EOS in October 2021 to support this process.

Cristy points out that JAKTOOL’s greatest achievement since implementing EOS has been building alignment on the company’s goals, values, and vision across all levels of the company, from leadership to an incredible team of craftsmen, engineers, project managers, and office staff.

While JAKTOOL clients see the quality of engineering, product development, and precision prototyping, as well as the team’s dedication to customer service, these are made possible by a shared commitment to core values. EOS helps JAKTOOL make sure these core values are driving the company culture and vision, resulting in ongoing growth.
